Today I have a few simple quick tips for you as you prepare your home for spring cleaning!

You know those old bottle brushes that you no longer have bottles to clean with?! I kept one handy and today I’ll show you why!

They are for way more than bottles / glassware! Who knew?!?

So what else do I clan with them?!

They are perfect for:

Cleaning the vents above your stove.

Cleaning the vents in the microwave (as pictured above)

Cleaning the Air Filters / Return Units in your home – you know those pesky little slats that love to collect the dust and dog hair?

Cleaning molding (as pictured below). I showed you here how I cleaned our old baseboards, but in our new house, they’re much more complicated than vacuuming / wiping down. Beautiful, but a pain to clean! Especially when you have critters in the house.

Cleaning fresh eggs. Trust me, they’re not all pretty and shiny like they are from the store cartons when you get them out of the coop. Sometimes they are – but not always – especially after the rain.

Cleaning jets in a jacuzzi / whirlpool tub. Here is how I keep our jacuzzi clean – sometimes the jets need an in-between cleaning though.

If they are coarse enough like this one, they are perfect for scrubbing stains / mud off of shoes.

And last, but not least, there’s the obvious cleaning of dishes / glasses / coffee pots / vases
